The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) on February 14, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Extension of Time regarding the Public Consultation on the Draft ‘Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025’
The following has been stated namely: -
• The last date for receipt of feedback/comments on the Draft ‘Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 has been extended from February 18, 2025 to March 05, 2025.
• Both the draft Rules and the DPDP Act, 2023 can be accessed at: https://www.meity.gov.in/data-protection-framework.
• Feedback/comments on the draft Rules can be submitted on: https://innovateindia.mygov.in/dpdp-rules-2025
