The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs, (CBIC) on February 14, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Crude Palm Oil tariff value.
The CBIC has amended Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) under Section 14(2) of the Customs Act, 1962, revising the tariff values for various imported goods.
Key amendments include updated tariff values (in USD) for Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, Palmolein, Crude Soya Bean Oil, Brass Scrap, Gold, Silver, and Areca Nuts under Table-1, Table-2, and Table-3 of the notification.
These revised tariff values will be effective from February 15, 2025.
