The Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Govt. of Kerala on February 14, 2025, issued the Kerala Minor Mineral Concession (Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend the Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2015.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In sub-rule (1), of Rule 2, after clause (iii), a new sub-rule shall be inserted, namely: - "(iii) (a). “Competent Agency” means the Agency notified by the Government for providing service using Drone and LiDAR technology as required by the Competent Authority".
• In sub-rule (1), of Rule 2, after clause (vi), a new clause shall be inserted, namely: - "(vi) (a). “Drone – “LiDAR Survey Report” means the report generated using Drone and LiDAR technology".
• After Chapter VIII, a new Chapter shall be inserted, namely: - “CHAPTER VIIIA" SUBMISSION OF DRONE-LiDAR SURVEY REPORT “.
