The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on February 13, 2025, notified the International Financial Services Centres Authority (Bullion Market) Regulations, 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like a beneficial owner and a bullion clearing corporation.
•Rule 3 specifies the Application for recognition of Bullion Exchange or Bullion Clearing Corporation.
•Rule 4 specifies Conditions for the grant of recognition as a Bullion Exchange or Bullion Clearing Corporation.
•Rule 5 specifies Grant of recognition as a Bullion Exchange or Bullion Clearing Corporation.
These regulations shall come into force on February 17, 2025.
