The Government of Manipur, on January 14, 2025, issued the Kumbi Municipal Council Building Bye-laws, 2025.
This shall come into force on January 16, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• They shall extend to the jurisdiction of all the Kumbi Municipal Council, Manipur.
• Chapter II outlines the Form of Application, Amount of Fees, and other Particulars Required to be Submitted with the Application.
• Chapter III outlines specific requirements such as projections, sun shades over windows and ventilators, room sizes, staircase, drainage and sanitation, and rainwater pipes.
• Chapter IV outlines the Health, Sanitation, and other requirements.
• Chapter VII outlines the provisions for High-rise developments.
