The Government of Chhattisgarh on February 13, 2025, issued a notification regarding Paid Holidays for Workers on Polling Dates.
The following has been stated: -
•The Chhattisgarh State Government has declared paid holidays on polling dates that is February 11, 17, 20, and 23, 2025—for employees working in factories and establishments under the Factories Act and Shops and Establishments Act.
•In factories operating seven days a week, workers will be given two hours off to vote, and those in continuous process industries can vote in turns. Casual and daily wage workers are also entitled to the holiday.
