The National Stock Exchange International Exchange (NSE IX) on February 17, 2025, notified regarding the Encryption/Decryption of Interactive Messages – Rollout Plan Update.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the Exchange is implementing a software-based encryption solution (TLS 1.3 and AES-256) for interactive message traffic, with a coexistence phase allowing both encrypted and non-encrypted flows until further notice, starting March 1, 2025, after which non-encrypted traffic will be discontinued.
• It states that members using Direct connection via NNF API shall download a CA certificate for Gateway Router validation from the extranet path starting March 1, 2025, ensuring secure SSL connections, with a new certificate available annually one month before expiry, as detailed in the NNF API protocol document (version 1.11).
