The Board of Major Port Authority for Mumbai Port on February 14, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Amendment to Lighterage Charges During the Monsoon Period.
under Section 27(1) of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021, has approved an amendment to Clause 2.2(c)(i) of the Scale of Rates (SOR) regarding "Lighterage Charges During Monsoon Period", as per Board Resolution No. 179 dated 13.12.2024.
In accordance with Clause 4.7 of the Tariff Policy, 2021, the amendment is being published for public information. As per Clause 4.8, the amendment will take effect 30 days after its notification in the State Gazette.
A comparative statement of the existing and modified provisions of the SOR has been provided for reference.
