Finance & Taxation Compliance The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on February 18, 2025, issued an extension of the due date for filing of Form No. 56F under the Income-tax Act, 1961.

It is stated that the due date for filing the accountant's report under Sections 10AA (8) and 10A (5) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, for AY 2024-25, has been extended to March 31, 2025, to ease taxpayer difficulties.
