The Government of Haryana on February 17, 2025, notified the Industrial UPS System Acquisition Scheme to ensure uninterrupted production & seamless services for Micro and Small enterprises (MSEs) and to promote the adoption of industrial Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) among all registered MSEs of the State.
The objective of this scheme is to provide support to MSEs for minimizing the loss of production time, inconsistency in quality and reduction in efficiency due to sudden power outages, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Haryana announced in his Budget Speech 2023-2024 that MSEs of the State shall be provided financial assistance on the capital expenditure incurred on purchase of Industrial Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System. This will enable these MSES to achieve uninterrupted production and seamless service while also minimizing electricity consumption and in-turn boost their productivity as well as quality.
All Micro and Small Industrial Units operating in the State of Haryana and having connected load of upto 100 kVA, shall be provided financial support by way of reimbursement of capital expenditure incurred in purchase of Industrial UPS System having load of upto 100 kVA. The eligible industrial units shall also comply with the following conditions:
• The unit should be in commercial production i.e. the benefit under the scheme may be availed only after commencement of commercial production.
• The unit should be in regular commercial production at the time of disbursement and the subsidy shall not be released to a closed unit.
• The unit should have obtained NOC/CLU from Competent Authority, if applicable.
• The item of manufacture of the unit should not have been placed in the restrictive list of HEEP-2020 or as notified by the State Government from time to time.
• The unit should have a Udyam Registration Certificate (URC) and Haryana Udhyam Memorandum (HUM) for manufacturing activities.
