The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on February 19, 2025, issued a notification regarding File Format for REMAT / RESTAT Set-Up and Rejection.
The following has been stated: -
•DPs are required to enter specific fields, such as Dispatch Date, Dispatch Document ID, and Dispatch Name while processing REMAT requests in CDAS.
•Two new fields, 'Remat Rejection Letter Received Date' and 'Remat Rejection Sent to BO Date, have been added for REMAT rejection processing.
•These changes will be reflected in the DP97 report. The new functionality will be released on February 21, 2025, and DPs should update their back-office software accordingly.
