Industry Specific Compliance The Prohibition and Excise Department, Govt. of Tamil Nadu on February 17, 2025, notified regarding the amendment to the Tamil Nadu Indian-made Foreign Spirits (Manufacture) Rules, 1981.

It states that in rule 22, in sub-rule (4), the expression “or silent spirit, absolute alcohol and denatured spirit” shall be substituted with the expression “or silent spirit and absolute alcohol”.
