The Indian Bank’s Association (IBA) on February 20, 2025, notified regarding the dearness relief payable to pensioners for the period February 2025 to July 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It provides clarity on the calculation of Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners for the period from February 2025 to July 2025, specifically for those where DR neutralization has not been implemented.
• It further states that banks yet to implement the IBA letter dated October 16, 2023, may pay Dearness Relief to pensioners for February–July 2025 on an ad hoc basis, as per Annexure I (attached below).
