Industry Specific ComplianceThe Department of Commercial Taxes, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh on February 19, 2025, notified regarding the bottle fee for bottled-in-origin (BIO) foreign liquor imported from other countries.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Spirit: ₹850 per 750ml quart bottle (or proportionate).

• Wine: ₹50 per 750ml quart bottle (or proportionate).

• Beer: ₹60 per 650ml quart bottle (or proportionate).

• This shall be effective from April 1, 2024.
