Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity Clearing Limited (NCCL) on February 21, 2025, issued a circular scheme of deposit for acceptance of Government Securities, Treasury Bills, and Sovereign Gold Bonds as Collateral.

The following has been stated: - 

•The valuation of Sovereign Gold Bonds will be based on prices from NSE, with a haircut percentage applied to determine the collateral value. Only the value after the haircut will be considered. The updated list of Government Securities, Treasury Bills, and Sovereign Gold Bonds, along with haircut details, is available in Annexure 1. 

•These changes will take effect from the start of trading on March 03, 2025.
