The Indian Banks' Association (IBA) on February 20, 2025, issued a notification regarding Dearness Relief payable to Pensioners for the period February 2025 to July 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners for the period February to July 2025 will be based on the confirmed CPI averages for October to December 2024. As per Regulation 37 of the Bank Employees' Pension Regulations, DR will be paid at specified rates.
•Pending amendments, banks are advised to pay the DR on an ad hoc basis as per the circular HR&IR/MBR/G2/0533 dated October 16, 2023.
