The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on February 20, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Creation of New Corporate Action (Ca) Types in the CDSL System.
The following has been stated: -
•CDSL has introduced new corporate action (CA) types effective from February 20, 2025, including:
•CA Type 97: Partly paid up to Fully paid up
•CA Type 98: Conversion of warrants to equity
•CA Type 100: Conversion of bonds/debentures to equity
•CA Type 101: Conversion of preference shares to equity.
•DPs are advised to update their back-office systems accordingly.
