Industry Specific ComplianceThe Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSO) on February 20, 2025, issued the notification regarding the prohibition to manufacture, sale and distribution and use of drug “Nimesulide and its formulation for animal use”

The following has been stated namely: -

• Strict vigil is to be kept on the manufacture, sale and distribution of drug in the country

• All regulatory measures shall be taken to ensure that the drug is not illegally manufactured/sold and its misuse in the animals is prevented.
