The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on February 21, 2025, issued a Consultation Paper for Guidelines on Procedure, process, and implementation of Technology-based measures to secure the trading environment and to prevent unauthorized transactions in trading/demat accounts of investors.
The following has been stated: -
•SEBI issued a consultation paper on February 18, 2025, proposing technology-based measures to secure the trading environment and prevent unauthorized transactions in trading/demat accounts.
•Stock exchanges will issue detailed guidelines on this framework's procedure, process, and implementation. Stakeholders are invited to submit comments by March 17, 2025.
•The link for submitting suggestions will be available on the NSE website from February 25, 2025.
