The Ministry of Textiles (MoT) on February 20, 2025, notified regarding the fixation of the maximum ex-factory price for the 580gm ‘Type-A & ‘Type-B’ Jute Bags.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It provides that the maximum ex-factory price for 580gm B-Twill Sacking Jute Bags is Rs. 107,746/MT (Rs. 6,249.24 per 100 bags) for Type A & Type B with 3% linkage, and Rs. 107,646/MT (Rs. 6,243.47 per 100 bags) for Type A & Type B without linkage.
• It states that the price fixed under this notification shall be exclusive of GST which shall be paid in addition to the exfactory price by the purchaser.
