Industry Specific ComplianceThe Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on February 24, 2025, issued a notice for seeking stakeholder inputs on the DFC (Draft For Comments) of Indian Telecom Security Assurance Requirements (ITSAR) for L2 and (or) L3 LAN Switch.

The following has been stated: -

•The Department of Telecommunications is seeking stakeholder input on the Draft Indian Telecom Security Assurance Requirements (ITSAR) for L2 and L3 LAN Switch, in line with mandatory testing and certification under the Indian Telegraph Rules. 

•NCCS is responsible for drafting security requirements, and an online meeting will be held for discussion. Stakeholders are invited to submit their comments by March 14, 2025, for consideration. 

•Meeting details and registration will be shared later.
