Industry Specific ComplianceThe Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) on February 20, 2025, notified the amendments in Affiliation Bye-Laws-2018 w.r.t to permit schools to apply for affiliation with or without NOC.

Clause 2.3.5 - No Objection from the Respective State Government, shall be amended, it states that from the 2026-27 session, schools under clauses 2.1.5 to 2.1.8 can apply for Board affiliation via the SARAS Panel with or without a NOC; if applied without a NOC, the Board will seek comments from the State Government within 30 days, followed by a 15-day reminder, after which, if no objection is raised, the application will proceed per Affiliation Bye-Laws-2018.
