Industry Specific ComplianceThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on February 18, 2025, issued a notification regarding amendments in Affiliation Bye-Laws 2018 under Chapters 11 & 12.

The following has been stated: - 

•The Affiliation Bye-Laws 2018 have been amended with changes in Chapters 11 and 12. 

•Clause 12.1.2 now allows imposing financial penalties based on the severity of violations, replacing the fixed fine of Rs. 5,00,000. Additionally, Clause 11.7.16 mandates that schools must assist the Inspection Committee by providing necessary documents, witnesses, and access to school infrastructure during inspections. 

•These amendments were approved by the Governing Body and the Controlling Authority.
