The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) on February 17, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Commission’s approval for the Cost Data for the materials of centralised procurement for Distribution Works for the FY 2025-26.
The following has been stated namely: -
• This Cost data applies to all three APDISCOMS. However, the following points should be considered in addition to the approved cost data: -
o The approved rates of all the materials are exclusive of GST
o One 11 kV feeder with 5-star/2-star DTRs shall be erected on a pilot basis in each Discom to analyse cost-benefit and ascertain the energy savings. A report in this regard shall be submitted to the Commission.
• The DISCOMs are directed to publish the Cost Data on their websites by April 01, 2025 which will be applicable for FY 2025-26.
