The Department of Labour, Gov. of Uttarakhand on February 21, 2025, notified regarding the Dearness Allowance Calculation for Engineering Industry Employees.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that Engineering industries with 50+ employees will provide VDA from February 01, 2025, to July 31, 2025, calculated on an average index of 1914 (base 426) using (1914 - 426) × 2535.00 / 426 = ₹8,855 per month, based on the All India Consumer Price Index (2016 = 100).
• It outlines the revised VDA rates: For 50-500 employees – Unskilled: ₹2,535, Semi-skilled: ₹2,785, Skilled: ₹3,090, and for 500+ employees – Unskilled: ₹2,660, Semi-skilled: ₹2,925, Skilled: ₹3,190.
