The Government of Rajasthan on February 19, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Stamp Duty Exemption on Transfer of Developed Land in Rajasthan.
In public interest, has remitted stamp duty on the transfer of developed land allotted to khatedars or landowners in lieu of land acquisition. This applies to transfers executed by government departments, government companies, corporations, societies, development authorities, municipalities, or urban improvement trusts. However, the exemption does not extend to assignees or transferees of the original landowner. This order supersedes all previous notifications, including those dated August 30, 2007 and August 05, 2008.
