The Government of Rajasthan on February 19, 2025, issued the Amnesty Scheme 2025.
It is to provide relief to taxpayers with outstanding demands or disputes under various state laws up to June 30, 2017. Effective from February 19, 2025, to September 30, 2025, the scheme offers tax rebates and waivers on interest, penalties, or late fees, subject to specific conditions. Applicants are required to deposit the stipulated amounts and submit undertakings for withdrawing any pending cases. Notably, refunds related to rebates or waivers under this scheme are not permitted. Applications must be submitted electronically through the Commercial Taxes Department's official website. Detailed procedures and clarifications will be provided by the Commissioner of the Commercial Taxes Department. Additionally, cases pending under the previous Amnesty Scheme 2024 will be addressed according to the provisions outlined in the new scheme.
