The Department of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Punjab on February 21, 2025, issued the Punjab Poisons Possession and Sale (First Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend Punjab Poisons Possession and Sale Rules, 2014.
This shall come into force on February 21, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The rule 4 shall be substituted with “License for sale or possession for sale’.
• In rule 6, the heading shall be substituted with “Application for grant or renewal of a license or addition of poison in existing license”.
• In Form A, in the heading, for the words “License for possession and sale of Poisons”, the words “License for sale or possession for sale of Poisons” shall be substituted.
