class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Government of Himachal Pradesh on February 21, 2025, issued the Himachal Pradesh Taxation (on Certain Goods Carried by Road) Amendment Act, 2024, to further amend the Himachal Pradesh Passengers and Goods Taxation Act, 1955.
It states that in section 4-A, sub-section (1), for the words “Assistant Excise and Taxation Commissioner or Excise and Taxation Officer in charge of the district”, the words, letters, and signs shall be substituted with “Assistant Commissioner of State Taxes and Excise (GST/Allied Taxes) of the concerned jurisdiction”.
