The Government of Madhya Pradesh on February 22, 2025, issued the Madhya Pradesh MSME Development Policy 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The policy is designed to create a conducive and growth-oriented MSME ecosystem in Madhya Pradesh. Its key objectives include:
o To significantly enhance the contribution of MSMEs to Madhya Pradesh’ GSDP by driving growth in manufacturing, services, and exports.
o To create a robust and supportive ecosystem for MSMEs by facilitating access to finance, technology, infrastructure, and markets.
o To enhance employment generation by encouraging MSME-led growth, with a focus on employment-intensive industries.
o To enhance MSME competitiveness and productivity through skill development, innovation, quality improvement, and technology adoption.
• The focus is on creating an enabling environment for MSMEs, considering the following aspects:
o Investments that begin small have the potential to grow significantly, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among the general populace.
o MSMEs are the main service enablers of large industries across the State. As an ancillary unit, they are critical for providing essential services across industries which leads to the inclusive growth of the State.
