Secretarial ComplianceThe Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on February 27, 2025,  Launched the ‘Bond Central’- A Centralised Database Portal for Corporate Bonds.

SEBI launched ‘Bond Central’, a free centralized database for corporate bonds, developed by the OBPP Association in collaboration with Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs). The platform aims to enhance transparency and informed decision-making for investors by providing:

•Comprehensive Bond Listings – A unified view of corporate bonds across exchanges and issuers.

•Price Comparison – Comparison with Government Securities (G-Secs) and other fixed-income indices.

•Investor-Centric Information – Risk assessments, bond documents, and disclosures.

•Enhanced Transparency – Standardized corporate bond-related data to improve market trust.

The first phase of ‘Bond Central’ is live, with additional features to be added based on stakeholder feedback.
