The Government of Goa on February 27, 2025, issued the Mukhyamantri Shikshan Sahay Yojana.
The following has been stated: -
•This scheme aims to provide Financial Assistance to Scheduled Tribes students for the Examination Fee of Goa Board for Classes X and XII.
•The financial assistance aims to improve the educational status and reduce drop-outs among Scheduled Tribe (ST) students in Goa.
•Eligible students must be ST, have a valid caste certificate, and maintain 75% attendance in Std. X or XII. Applications should be submitted with supporting documents, including the caste certificate, through the school head, who will verify and submit a consolidated sheet.
•The deadline is the same as the Goa Board Examination Forms submission.
It shall come into force with effect from February 27, 2025.
