The Mangaluru City Corporation on February 05, 2025, issued a Draft Mangaluru City Corporation Building Bye-Laws 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It shall come into force three months after final publication in the official Gazette.
• It states that all mandatory Master Plan or Zonal Regulations, including amendments, shall automatically apply to these Byelaws for various building categories.
• It provides the definitions of Types of Buildings based on use of premises or activity, design, height, and other features.
• It outlines General Building Requirements and Services.
• Objections or suggestions, for the draft Building bye-laws shall be submitted on or before March 7, 2025.
