class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Labour Department, Govt. of Gujarat on January 02, 2025, notified regarding the Aadhar Authentication services for good governance.
• It states that Gujarat Govt. has mandated Aadhaar authentication for the Gujarat Skill Development Mission (GSDM) to enhance the efficiency and transparency of skill training programs.
• Aadhaar authentication is required for trainee registration to prevent duplicate enrollments and ensure resources reach eligible beneficiaries.
• Aadhaar-Enabled Biometric Systems (AEB) will track trainee attendance in real time, recording check-in and check-out times daily.
• In cases where Aadhaar authentication is not feasible, an alternative verification mechanism will be implemented.
