The Ministry of Textiles on February 27, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Maximum Ex-Factory Price for Jute Bags.
The following has been stated: -
•The Jute Commissioner, has fixed the maximum ex-factory prices for 580gm 'Type-A' and 'Type-B' Jute Bags as follows: Type A & B with 5% linkage at Rs. 106,772/MT (Rs. 6192.77/100 bags) and without linkage at Rs. 106,565/MT (Rs. 6180.77/100 bags).
•These bags must meet BIS specifications and be marked with the required emblems and certification. The prices exclude GST, which will be added separately by the purchaser.
