class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Government of Goa on February 17, 2025, issued the Goa Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend the Goa Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1987.
This shall come into force from February 27, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
· • In rule 57, sub-rule (2), the expression “rupees 20 per annum,” the expression shall be substituted with “rupees 500 per annum”.
· • In rule 57, sub-rule (3), shall be substituted with:- “(3)The licence, unless sooner suspended or cancelled, shall be valid for a period of 2 years from the date of its issue”.
