Commercial Complianceclass="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on February 28, 2025, notified regarding the difficulty in closure of Advance Authorisation due to space constraints in the description column of the shipping bills-reg.

It states that exporters facing issues with item descriptions exceeding 120 characters in the online system for AA closure should provide self-attested GST e-invoices as proof, which will be considered by RAs for Redemption/EODC.
