The Government of Gujarat on February 06, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Resolution on Opening of Interest-Bearing Personal Ledger Account.
The Gujarat Building and Other Construction Labor Welfare Board has been established to implement welfare schemes for construction workers. As per the notification, all unutilized funds from sources other than state government grants can be deposited in GSFS for further utilization. Based on this provision, a proposal was submitted for opening an interest-bearing Personal Ledger Account (PLA) for the Construction Board’s office.
Resolution is upon approval from the AG Office, Ahmedabad, permission is granted to open an interest-bearing PLA under the name:
"Member Secretary, Gujarat Building and Other Construction Labor Welfare Board."
The deposit head will be:
8342-Deposit (interest-bearing) 00-103-Deposit of Government Companies, Etc.
