Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Goa on February 26, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Restriction on Liquor Transportation and Possession in Ward No. X, Cuncolim Municipal Council.

The Government of Goa prohibits the transportation of liquor within the jurisdiction of Ward No. X, Cuncolim Municipal Council, Taluka Salcete, South Goa District during the Polling and Counting of Votes for the Bye-Election scheduled on 8th, 9th, and 10th March 2025.

During the specified period, individuals may possess only the following maximum quantity of liquor without a permit:

•Three-quart bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) or foreign liquor (other than beer) and six bottles of beer (650 ml each) per person, including family members.

•Three-quart bottles of country liquor per person, including family members.

This notification shall remain in force from March 08,  2025, to March 10, 2025, on account of the Polling and Counting of Votes for the Bye-Election in Ward No .X of Cuncolim Municipal Council, Salcete, South Goa District.
