The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on February 28, 2025, issued an amendment Notification under the Customs Act, 1962.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC), being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to do so, hereby amends Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.), dated August 03, 2001, as published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-section (ii), under S.O. 748(E), dated August 03, 2001.
Substitution of Tables: The existing TABLE-1, TABLE-2, and TABLE-3 in the notification shall be replaced with new tables as prescribed in the revised notification.
