class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on February 06, 2025, notified regarding the projects/activities requiring prior Environmental Clearance (EC) - exempted from: obtaining Consent to Establish.
It states that the Projects requiring prior Environmental Clearance (EC) under the Environmental Impact Assessment Notification, 2006, are exempt from separately obtaining Consent to Establish (CTE) under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986. However, they shall obtain comments from the Board and pay the necessary fee for processing consent applications, following the procedures outlined in the referenced SOP and OM.
