•The Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs) successfully implemented the Direct Payout Settlement mechanism for securities on February 25, 2025, under SEBI's guidance.
•This initiative aims to enhance efficiency, transparency, and investor protection. It ensures the seamless direct credit of securities to clients' demat accounts. The mechanism also strengthens market integrity and operational efficiency.
