The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on March 03, 2025, issued a notification for the Fixation of one new Standard Input Output Norms (SIONs) at SION A-3684 under 'Chemical and Allied Product' (Product Code 'A').
In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy-2023, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has notified a new Standard Input Output Norm (SION) with Serial Number A-3684 under the 'Chemical and Allied Product' (Product Code 'A') category.
The newly approved SION A-3684 specifies the input-output norms for the following export products:
Metronidazole Gel USP 1% (55 gm pack) – Requires 0.561 gm of Metronidazole (Micronized) USP per pack.
Metronidazole Gel USP 1% (60 gm tube) – Requires 0.612 gm of Metronidazole (Micronized) USP per pack.
Effect of the Public Notice
With this notification, SION No. A-3684 has been officially introduced for the above-mentioned export products under the Chemical & Allied Product Group, providing clarity on input requirements for exporters.
