Secretarial ComplianceThe Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on March 03, 2025, issued an advisory for Fraudsters Exploiting Compromised Websites for Public Deception.

The following has been stated: - 

•Cybercriminals increasingly target Depository Participants' websites to deceive the public through data theft, fake documents, and fraudulent communications. 

•This compromises public trust and causes potential harm to both investors and institutions. Depository Participants are urged to enhance website security, educate the public, and report suspicious activities to prevent fraud.
