Secretarial ComplianceThe India International Bullion Exchange (IIBX) on March 03, 2025, issued a circular regarding modification in the Daily Price Limit (DPL) for Gold Contracts traded in T+0 Contracts.

The following has been stated: - 

•IIBX has modified the Daily Price Limit (DPL) for Gold Contracts under T+0 contracts, reducing the initial price band from 3% to 1% with immediate effect. The DPL will have eight slabs, with each slab increasing by 1% once the previous slab is hit. 

•If the DPL breaches the 5th slab, a 15-minute cooling-off period will be implemented before further relaxation. 

•If the 9% limit is breached, the price band may be further relaxed depending on international market movements, with regulatory approval.
