The Government of Goa on February 20, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Declaration of Paid Holiday for Bye-Election in Cuncolim Municipal Council.
The Government of Goa, under Section 12 read with Section 11 of the Goa Municipalities Act, 1968, has declared Sunday, 09th March 2025 as a paid holiday for voters in Ward No. X of Cuncolim Municipal Council, Salcete, South Goa, in view of the Bye-Election.
This paid holiday applies to industrial workers, daily wage workers, private sector employees, government department employees, and workers under the Negotiable Instruments Act, of 1881, ensuring they can exercise their voting rights. This holiday is in addition to the previously notified government holidays for 2025.
