The Government of Uttar Pradesh on February 19, 2025, issued a notification regarding the calculation of Variable Dearness Allowance for Workers in Engineering Factories.
The following has been stated: -
•As per Government notification 4/2016/873, variable dearness allowance for workers in engineering factories is calculated based on the All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) exceeding 239 points.
•For July 2024 to December 2024, the average CPI score of 413 will be used. As per the formula, the dearness allowance for unskilled workers will be Rs. 5417 from February 2025 to July 2025.
