The Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) on March 04, 2025, issued a notification regarding an updated format for Quarterly Returns for Manufacturers and Traders of Psychotropic Substances.
The following has been stated: -
•The new format for Quarterly Returns for Manufacturers of Bulk Psychotropic Substances and Preparations has been finalized after stakeholder consultations, as detailed in this Public Notice.
•There is no separate filing requirement for Research and Development, which should be included in the regular returns. The return format for Traders/wholesalers remains unchanged.
•Companies must submit their returns in both PDF and Excel formats to the provided email until the CBN Online Portal is fully operational.
