Commercial Complianceclass="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Directorate General of Foreign Trade on March 05, 2025, issued an Amendment in Import Policy and Policy Condition of Platinum covered under HS Code 7110 of Chapter 71 of ITC (HS) 2022, Schedule -I (Import Policy).

It states that the import policy for platinum under ITC (HS) codes 71101110, 71101120, and 71101900 has been revised from "Free" to "Restricted," except for platinum alloys with 99% or more purity by weight of platinum.
