Secretarial ComplianceThe Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on March 06, 2025, issued a notification regarding the discontinuation of Auto DO and DP89 Shortage Report for NCL members.

The following has been stated: - 

•NSE Clearing Limited (NCL) will discontinue the Auto-DO functionality for all NCL members starting March 07, 2025, while continuing it for Custodian Clearing Members and T+0 settlement. 

•As a result, CDSL will no longer provide the DP89 report with a ‘Shortage’ transaction type for NCL members, though reports with a ‘Full’ transaction type will be generated for early and normal pay-ins. 

•ICCL members will continue to have access to both Auto-DO and DP89 reports.
